I'm Brett and for over 20 years I have studied communication. I have studied language.
I don't mean in the academic sense, no - my interests are far more practical. My interests lie in how language, and the way we use it, can influence others and ourselves alike. How it has the power to create new perceptions in our mind's eye as well as completely change old ones , directly changing our thoughts, mood and behavior as a result.
For more than 2 decades I have studied and trained in the use of language in numerous fields. From Hypnosis/Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, conflict de-escalation & resolution to the more commercially focused disciplines of sales & marketing/ copy writing, persuasive negotiation and special questioning methods. I have used them effectively across a varied career and experienced their seemingly limitless application first hand.
From sales/service roles to team leadership and managerial positions to consultancy in specialised areas like brand development and marketing strategy, skillful use of language has always been at the forefront in what I do.
Brand development and marketing strategy - Now these are two areas of business that I have an affinity for.
